Little Larks, Inc. (Petites Alouettes Inc.) was incorporated in Canada under the Canada Business Corporations Act. In Canada, we are licensed by the Ministry of Education, Ontario, and the City of Ottawa to operate licensed home daycare programs across the region.
Little Larks is committed to providing high-quality, developmentally appropriate, and culturally responsive early learning experiences to Pakistani families rooted in Canadian standards of excellence.
We are bringing our Canadian expertise to Pakistan through a direct franchise model. Parents and franchisees in Pakistan benefit from an authentic Canadian early education curriculum, Canadian-trained early childhood education advisors, and virtual connections between children in both countries.
Our virtual exchange program, based on the Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) methodology, connects early learning in Pakistan with that of Canada, fostering cultural understanding and global awareness from an early age.
I have spent over a decade watching young children learn. Not through flashcards or memorization - but through play, curiosity, and discovery. That is what early learning truly is.
In the United States, I earned my Master's, and in Canada, I completed my PhD in Education. For over a decade, I have worked in educational settings in multicultural settings across various countries — designing play-based curricula, training teachers, and sitting on the floor with children as they learned through play.
I believe Pakistani children deserve the high quality of early education that children in developed nations like Canada receive. Little Larks' early learning in Pakistan is that belief in action.
We do not rush childhood. We create environments where learning happens naturally—through sensory play, storytelling, music, movement, and meaningful relationships. We believe play is the work of childhood. We believe relationships and human connections matter most, especially in this age of social media and new technologies affecting children's mental health and behaviors. And we believe families are partners.
Every child who walks through our doors is at the beginning of their learning story. We are here to give them the strongest possible start.
Welcome to Little Larks' Canadian early learning in Pakistan.

At Little Larks, we believe childhood is not a race—it is a season.
We are a play-based early learning community. We do not rush children. We do not fill their days with worksheets.
Instead, we give them:
Time to play
Space to wonder
Adults who listen
Materials that inspire
A community that cares
We believe play is the work of childhood. We believe emotional health is the foundation of all learning. And we believe families are partners—not spectators.
Our approach is inspired by Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, and attachment theory. But it is rooted in something simpler: a deep respect for children and a fierce protection of their early years.
Because the early years are not just the beginning of school.
They are the beginning of everything.
At Little Larks, the safety and well-being of every child is our highest priority. All staff undergo thorough background checks and receive mandatory child protection training before entering the classroom. Our centers maintain strict visitor policies, CCTV surveillance in common areas, and secure drop-off and pick-up procedures. Every franchisee is required to sign and adhere to our Child Protection Policy, which is based on Canadian child safety standards and adapted to comply with Pakistani regulations.
Little Larks maintains a zero-tolerance approach to bullying in any form. Our teachers are trained to recognize early signs of physical, verbal, and social bullying and to intervene immediately using positive guidance techniques. We teach children empathy, kindness, and respect for others through daily activities and role modeling. Parents are notified promptly of any incidents, and we work collaboratively with families to resolve issues and support all children involved.
The health and safety of our children is non-negotiable. All Little Larks' Canadian Early Learning centers follow strict hygiene protocols, including regular handwashing, sanitization of toys and surfaces, and daily health checks. We maintain a clear medication administration policy requiring written parental consent, and our staff is trained in pediatric first aid and emergency response. In case of illness or emergency, parents are contacted immediately, and we follow documented procedures for medical care and incident reporting.
Little Larks is committed to providing an inclusive environment where every child, family, and staff member is treated with dignity and respect. We do not discriminate on the basis of gender, religion, ethnicity, disability, or socioeconomic background. Our franchisees are required to uphold this commitment in admissions, hiring, and daily operations. We believe that diversity strengthens our community and prepares children to thrive in an interconnected world.
We take all concerns seriously and are committed to resolving them promptly and fairly. Parents and franchisees can raise concerns directly with their center manager or through our central office at complaints@littlelarks.ca. All complaints are acknowledged within 3-days and investigated thoroughly. If a satisfactory resolution is not reached, the matter is escalated to our senior management team. We maintain confidentiality throughout the process and use every complaint as an opportunity to improve our services.
We believe in transparency and fairness in all financial matters. Franchise fees are non-refundable once the Franchise Agreement is signed and training has commenced. Monthly tuition fees to the franchisee are non-refundable, but fees paid in advance for future months may be refunded on a pro-rata basis if a child withdraws with 30 days' written notice. Any refund requests are processed within 15 working days. Full details are provided in the Parent Handbook and Franchise Agreement.
Before signing any Franchise Agreement, all prospective franchisees receive our Franchise Disclosure Document. This document provides complete transparency on the franchise opportunity, including the franchisor's background, all fees and costs, territory rights, training and support obligations, renewal and termination terms, and any relevant litigation history. We encourage all prospective franchisees to review this document carefully and consult with legal and financial advisors before making a decision.
